My primary motivation for making music and art is to satisfy my own yearning for creative exploration, while also enjoying the empathy and mutual understanding I receive from other people who enjoy these creations.

Looming ever closer is the radical (and welcome) reshaping of what we call "the music industry". The industry has often ignored those working on the fringe, yet greatly rewarding those pandering to the commercial masses. Now, due to the innovations of the internet, the scales are slowly shifting. The playing field is opening up to those who surround that fringe, where contact with like minded individuals is becoming far easier and more direct.

Restating my original intentions, I do this to create and connect. My music will always be freely available, whether directly from me at this site or via others in the ever evolving file sharing networks.
