Belated Update inc. HCOM News
[7th November 2008]

To keep you all up to scratch on my musical happenings, sorry I've been slack at updates but it's been a busy summer slogging away at my MA Dissertation, moving to Manchester and dealing with all involved in that. All is great though!

Pupilar: I'm playing a house party gig in Sheffield mid November which will be really different and interesting. I think it's invite only though, so sorry if you were interested in turning up. A nice little private affair with several musicians jamming together all evening, it should be lovely. Other than that, some remixes planned, but things have been a little slow here due to time spent on other projects.

Higher Council of Mars: This is the big news of the last couple of months; I am now an official member of HCOM! After the great success of our collaboration last summer on their début album, they've had a turbulent year in the bass player department, but after that finally got sorted out a couple months ago, I was asked if I would like to join full time too. Of course, I happily excepted and have been practising and gigging with them over the last month. All very last minute, but after 2 practices I went on a weeks tour with them around N. England/Scotland, which was a wonderful success and a great laugh! Cheers to everyone involved and big love to Khuda who joined us for the entire week. More things are planned for the near future: more gigs (and my progressive integration into them) and my inclusion in the songwriting for new material. See the (swanky new look) HCOM myspace page for up-to-date info on what we're doing. It's all very exciting and great to be playing in a metal band again! :)

Other projects are still being discussed/worked on embryonically (including Cymophane, which is slowly getting there between mine and Ian's hectic life schedules), but of course, I'll post here when things are ready to be unleashed.
