I’m very pleased to be one of the 17 contributors to The Monstrum Opus of Sherlock Holmes: A Compendium of Horrors Dr. Watson Dared Not Tell, a new collection of essays revealing the monsters secretly appearing in the Sherlock Holmes mystery stories.

Monsters include werewolves, shapeshifters, Cthulu, Mr. Hyde, Dorian Gray, Gozer, and the Wicked Witch of the West. My particular piece deals with “The adventure of the Speckled Band” (you know, the one with the snake, but that’s not the monster). best for the Halloween season!
